Corporate Social Responsibility
In our endeavour to give back to our community, HSE Solutions has focused part of our
BBBEE contribution to Soweto Canoe & Recreation Club.
SCARC’s main objective is to give children and adults of Soweto the opportunity to be introduced to water sports and activities. The spin off that this initiative has is the teaching of children to swim (adults included in the program to achieve a basic level of proficiency in water)
SCARC’s philosophy is that individuals must to be able to swim (at a basic survival level) before being introduced to the various water sport activities such as canoeing, windsurfing, canoe polo, wild water, sailing etc.
We look forward to a continued successful relationship with SCARC in 2010.
